
Gandhi would arrive at 10.30 am at Silchar and fly by a chopper to the university campus, NSUI sources said. He would interact for about an hour with 250 students of the university and 12 other local colleges before flying to Guwahati, the sources said.
From the airport in Guwahati, he would go by helicopter to the IIT in northern part of the capital at around 2.30 pm.
He would be taken by road to the airport for the flight back to Delhi, the sources said.
Organisers NSUI so far has no information about Rahul Gandhi meeting the Press or media be allowed to cover the interactive sessions at both the elite educational institutions.
The NSG has already arrived at both the venues besides state civil and police officials to ensure security arrangements for Gandhi, official sources said.
NSUI President Hiddi Eden would accompany Rahul.
