Guwahati: Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Monday said that his party will fight against corruption and warned the party workers that infighting will not be tolerated.

"The party will fight against corruption and will not tolerate any kind infighting among partymen," Singh, who is election-in charge of Assam, said while addressing workers at the party office here.

Ahead of next year's Assembly polls in the state, Singh cautioned partymen not to "fight among each other".
"I am confident that if we unitedly fight the election the Congress will win," he said.
Singh also urged partymen to make public their properties, saying transparency has to be maintained.
"I was chief minister of Mandhya Pradesh for 10 years and regularly submitted details of movable and immovable assets," he said.

Singh, who came here on Monday, also held a meeting with Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to discuss the strategies for the election.
